Dear Healthcare Colleagues,

Following our first successful Health 2.0 Conference last March, we are presenting -at the request of many- our second Health 2.0 conference : REshape2009  October 12 & 13, 2009 at Nijmegen, the Netherlands.

Many steps in the field of Health 2.0 are to be taken in the (near) future and we will, as is to be read in the presentation on the occasion of the Week of the E-health 2009: http://www.slideshare.net/lucienengelen/health-valley-week-e-health

Our second Health 2.0 conference offers the top speakers on the National and International level.  Mayo Clinic-, Cleveland Clinic-, Debrecen- and Radboud-speakers, together with other outstanding pioneers, visionairs will not only give you an overview, but moreover will be advising in the steps to be taken in Health20. How are others doing ? What are the chances, the pitfalls ? Where to start ? Start now or wait ?(have a look at out study on this behalf : http://hospitalsEU.wordpress.com

But moreover, we think in terms of Health 2.0 much more than just the role of the Internet. It is focused on a different mindset, which -as so often said- is the patientcentered mindset. There is a role reversal on the way in which the relationship between the patient and his / her caregiver(s) is going to make a shift.
This is expressed both in a different way of searching AND finding information, communication and interaction throughout the process in the place where the Healthcare can take place.

So : will it be “you ask, we run”? No! but much more together than in most occasions right now. One calls it “participative medicine”, the other “collaborative healthcare”.

After attending this conference you’ll understand why we, despite the fact that participatory medicine is a big step ahead, especially are followers of the last.

So : Reshape 2009 : Second Health 2.0 Conference Nijmegen The Netherlands : Healthcare Communication is Changing October 12-13

October 12th is open for Healthcare employees and Vendor / Consultancy / Business

October 13th has been migrated to an invitational conference only.

Since it is not a marketing or vendor conference we have tried to keep prices low, to give many colleagues the opportunity to attend, we've made an inspirational programme.

As founders of these conferences we would like to share, discuss, hear, listen and collaborate on this very important development. I therefore would be honoured if you would be attending, since the necessary movement can’t be taken by a few healthcare institutions alone. If you have any questions please mail us at by the contact form below or by twitter @REshape09

Just to give you some inspiration on this matter please have a look at this blogpost with 2 videos, just to put some in perspective (for translation of the text there is a Google translate button) : http://clicky.me/91
